When will I get billed?
When you first sign up for a paid API plan, or change plans, Sherpa.ai will immediately bill you a prorated amount for the remainder of the month. Subsequent recurring payments per API will be automatically billed to your credit card on the 1st of the month. You can review and download your most recent bills in your Billing History.
For example, if you signed up for a €49 paid plan on the 16th of a 30-day month, you would immediately be charged a prorated amount for the remaining 15 days. You would then be charged €49 on the 1st of each subsequent month.
Is VAT included in the price?
VAT is not included in the public pricing and plans. Our billing system will take this into account when the invoice is generated, depending on whether you are:
- A company or end user in Spain: VAT 21%.
- An EU-based company that is registered as an intra-Community operator: VAT 0%.
- An EU-based company or end user that is not registered as an intra-Community operator: VAT of the EU member country in which the company or end user is based.
How is my credit card information stored?
Sherpa.ai uses Stripe to conduct all payment processing. Your credit card information is never stored on our servers.
Will the data uploaded be shared with third parties?
No! We will never share your data with third parties. You maintain ownership of your data at all times.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, and UnionPay.
What happens if I go over my limit?
The Free and Pro plans have request and user limits, which cannot be surpassed. If you are currently using the Free plan and have reached your request or user limit, upgrade to Pro to continue. If you are currently using the Pro plan and have reached your request or user limit, please contact us to upgrade to an Enterprise plan that fits your needs.
What is the request limit?
The request limit depends on that plan that you have chosen. The Free plan allows 1,000 requests per month, the Pro plan allows 60,000 requests per month, and the Enterprise option allows you to choose the amount of requests that suits your needs. You can log in and see your current plans in the Plans section. If you haven’t registered yet, take a look at the Pricing section of each product.
What is the user limit?
The user limit depends on that plan that you have chosen. The Free plan allows 10 total users, the Pro plan allows 10,000 total users, and the Enterprise option allows you to choose the total number of users that suits your needs. You can log in and see your current plans in the Plans section. If you haven’t registered yet, take a look at the Pricing section of each product.
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
To upgrade any of your subscriptions, sign in or log in and visit the Plans page and choose the option that suits your needs.
To downgrade, send us a request via Support. Choose the Request Type: Modify Plan, select the API in question, and explain the reason for downgrading.
Can I upgrade one API and continue using the Free plan for other APIs?
Of course! Go ahead and choose the plans that fit your needs.
Where can I find the necessary documents to start integrating?
You can find all of the API References in your Account, as well as on their respective product pages.
What is the difference between the Prebuilt Recommendation API and the Custom Content Recommendation API?
The Prebuilt Recommendation API allows you to incorporate recommendations from Sherpa.ai’s collection of domains and integrate them into your operational systems, whereas the Custom Content Recommendation API allows you to build ad hoc recommendations using your own catalog of products and services.
For example, if a media company wants to recommend restaurants or events to their clients, they can do so by using the Prebuilt Recommendation API.
However, if that same company wants to recommend their own news articles to their clients, they can do so by using the Custom Content Recommendation API.
How do I contact customer support?
